Jean-Marc Meyer
Jean-Marc Meyer is an established figure in the music world, known for his versatility as a musician, producer, arranger, and educator. He holds a rich academic background with qualifications such as ACM (PopMus) - Guitar, LLCM from the University of West London, DipLCM in Music Pedagogy, and a Master's Degree in Didactics and Music Education Pedagogy. Additionally, Jean-Marc is an Accredited UNISA Teacher in Jazz guitar studies since 2020.
Jean-Marc's career began with significant accomplishments in both performance and education. He is a dedicated music educator who has taught hundreds of students since 2015, serving as a music teacher, ensemble coordinator, and music improvisation and interpretation tutor at various private and public schools. His work includes lecturing in Music Composition & Arrangement and Keyboard Technique at the College of Audio Engineering, where he also authored a comprehensive curriculum.
Jean-Marc is also an accomplished music producer with experience working with both local and international artists, including those affiliated with major labels such as SONY BMG. His compositions have received airplay on numerous local and international radio stations. He is a versatile musician with great experience in pop, rock, jazz, fusion, Latin, African, and East Asian music genres.
